Teen and senior portrait sessions in Central Park and around NYC are all about capturing personality, style, and this exciting stage of life. Whether it’s a high school senior session to celebrate graduation or a fun shoot just because, I make sure each session feels natural and comfortable. With nearly 20 years of experience photographing teens, I know how to create a mix of classic, candid, and creative shots that reflect who they are. Central Park offers amazing backdrops, but we can also explore the city for an edgier vibe.
Many of my clients are visiting from out of town and want to make the most of their NYC experience, so I keep booking simple and stress-free. Let’s capture this moment before they head off on their next big adventure!

Frequently Asked Questions

I have worked with many hundreds of teens and high-school seniors, here are some of the common questions I get…

You can book your appointment anytime, most of my clients book at least a couple of months in advance, but I’ve worked with many short notice clients, some even reaching out the same week of their visit/shoot.

I highly recommend sunset sessions whenever possible (starting about 2.5 hours before sunset).
If that does not work with your trip’s schedule, we can also aim for an early morning session…Ideally starting around 8:30 or so.

I recommend my seniors choose a second outfit for their session as a way to get more variety… If you really can’t narrow it down to two a third one is ok but not ideal.
We will find a place to change along our route (in a hotel or store).

Most of my Central Park sessions start by the Plaza Hotel and then head to Bethesda Fountain. For Seniors I actually love working in the streets of the city, most often starting in Times Sqaure.

Your online gallery will be available online in about 2 weeks after your session. If your package includes any files those will be delivered digitally via Dropbox or something similar.

In case of rain I will do my best to reschedule you for another day during your visit (overcast days are great for shooting as long as it’s not actually raining).

Regardless of weather, if you need to postpone or cancel your session at any time that’s totally fine.. Just please be resourceful of my time and give me as much notice as possible. There is no deposit or cancellation fee.

Getting started

Booking your Senior & Teen Photography session is easy!

1. Send me an email with the dates you’ll be in town
(plus, and any other info you’d like to shar, i.e. what you have in mind, where you’re staying etc.)

2. Once we find a date/time, I’ll email you a booking link to secure your spot.
(There is no deposit required. Cancel anytime if your plans change for any reason).

3.We’ll meet at the time and place we’ve decided on and the photos will be ready online in about 10-14 days.
